NMC Center of Excellence Award

Online Learning received the 2008 Center of Excellence Award from the New Media Consortium (NMC). This award bestowed to RIT Online Learning was in recognition of the support of emerging technologies, faculty innovation, and online learning.

Online Learning received a record number of nominations submissions for the two faculty and student Online Learning awards. Nominations are being reviewed and the three award winners will be announced early Fall (20081) Quarter.

Each quarter students should complete the Quarterly Startup in the Online Learning Student Community to prepare for their online courses. The community also includes practice activities, academic/technical resources, and interactive discussion forums.
